This course provides an introduction and overview to the Sage 300 People program using hands-on exercises with simulated source documents. In this session, you will learn how to manage employee information and contracts, track working hours, absenteeism and bonuses and how these can be managed by company, subsidiary or branch. The employee self service ensures employees can access vital information themselves, at any time. By taking advantage of the power and usability in Sage 300 People program, you can increase productivity, save processing time, and utilize different reporting options. Attendees will be given lots of opportunity to explore and practice these techniques throughout the course.
Upon completion of this session you will be able to:
- Access the Sage 300 People and easily navigate of the program
- Understand the screen layout and terminology
- Understand the Entity concept
- Have an overview of Employee Management e.g. how to apply filters
- Navigate the Employee Detail Screen and sub-menus
- Add new employee information and change existing employee fixed information
- Add a recruit, employ a recruit, add a terminated employee as a recruit, print sample payslips
- Re-instate a terminated employee
- Access the Memo Screen and add memos
- Provide you with an introduction to Sage 300 People reporting interface – email reports directly from the application.
